You must download two files before you can unlock the Planscape program. The first part of the instructions describes the process for downloading and installing the Registration program and the second part describes the process for the Unlock program. Instructions - Registration Download the install program for registration. (about 950KB) After you press "Download" for the registration program a window similar to one of these will appear.  
It is best to select "Open" or "Run" so the install file will not be stored on your computer. The install file only needs to run once, installing the registration program. After the install file has been downloaded it will start automatically. During the install process a number of windows will appear. Press the highlighted button on each window to complete the installation. At the end of the installation, press the "Exit" button and the registration program will start. Also, the install program places this icon  on your desktop and makes an entry in the "Program" menu.
Before you can use the unlock program you will have to activate it. This is done by providing us with some basic information about yourself, allowing us to identify those who are using this software. 
After you have provided us with some basic information about yourself, press the "Register" button and we will send you (to the email address you provided) a password word. This word is required to activate the unlock code generator program. Instructions - Unlocking Download the install program for unlocking. (about 150KB) After downloading and installing the unlock code generator, the unlock program will start. Also, the install program places this icon  on your desktop and makes an entry in the "Program" menu.
Press the "Add Product ..." button and select "PLANSCP.TPP" 
Then press "OK" and the Password window is presented. Enter the password that was sent to your email address to activate the unlock program. 
After pressing "OK", you are ready to use the Planscape unlock program. 
Enter the Planscape 16 digit registration number and press the "<- Show Unlock" button. The button will be enabled after you have entered 16 digits. Your 16 digit unlock number will appear in the "Unlock Code" text box. Obtaining the 16 digit registration number and unlocking the Planscape software is described below. 
Some operating systems do not like to run 16 bit software so you might get a couple error messages. Just ignore them by pressing the "OK" button. The unlock code is still correct. 
The final step is to unlock the software. If Planscape hasn't been unlocked, the following window will appear when the program first starts which contains the registration number. 
Press the "Purchase" button and the following window will appear. 
Enter the unlock code, created by the unlock code generator, your name and the company name. Note: the software doesn't care what you enter for User Name and Company Name but it has to be something. Then press the "OK" button. If the program unlocks properly, a small window will appear thanking you for your purchase.
